Collaboration is at the heart of the new David Braley Health Sciences Centre at the McMaster Health Campus in downtown Hamilton.
From the beginning, David Braley has shared our drive to expand the impact of McMaster and the city on innovation in health sciences research, education and care across Canada while, at the same time, increasing health services to the people of Hamilton.

The six-storey building, which officially opened on May 15th, is purpose-built with co-location and shared space to enhance the growing partnership between the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Services for the City of Hamilton. Other Faculty of Health Sciences researchers, educators, students and clinicians are co-located at the centre, including the faculty development and continuing health sciences education programs.
The $84.6-million project was funded by McMaster University, the City of Hamilton, the Province of Ontario and well-known Hamilton businessman David Braley.
